I’m just popping in to wish my mom (a.k.a. “Mama Chuck!”) a Happy Birthday!
Our family got some heartbreaking news this week, today being especially tough for all of us. But at the core of this family is mom, our pillar of strength and unconditional love. Always.
It may not be a day for celebration–in fact, I know my mom spent the day at the hospital and doing laundry–but it most definitely is a day for gratitude.
I am grateful for the blessings, the love, the friendship.
