- my 3rd marathon in the RAIN (thankfully, only for the first 8 miles),
- my 3rd marathon in the past 8 weeks,
- AND my 2nd marathon in the past 2 weeks, which means I’ve
officially lost my mindofficially qualified to become a Marathon Maniac!
| The warped hand gesture’s supposed to be an “M” for Maniac… |
I found it to be a really tough course, but absolutely loved the smaller size of the event and the volunteers and spectators were ridiculously amazing (shout out to all of the awesome cops who held up traffic while I ran shuffled across major roads on the course and never made me stop running like the cops at the OC Marathon).
Hubby and pup win Support Crew of the Year for navigating the course in order to cheer for me at Miles 13, 15, 18, 19 AND 23, before meeting me at the Finish Line (and boy-oh-boy did I need them out there on that seriously challenging course)!

Meg! You are awesome! Congratulations
Chuck… you TRULY are an inspiration. It hit home for me especially when you laid out all 8 of your marathon medals side by side. What an incredible lifetime accomplishment that is still in full swing. You deserve the MANIAC status and I will happily continue to be your support crew!!!
congrats!!! i can't imagine doing 2 marathons in two weeks (im doing it november and am scared shitless!). you are a total running rockstar!
Congrats! A great race report, and I'm majorly impressed that you're a MANIAC!!! Woot!
Congratulations on your recent races…. pretty hard core!
I really can't believe how many of these you've done. I did one like 7 weeks back and am thinking I'll do another in like 2 years haha.
